Retatrutide is an investigational injection developed by American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly. The drug targets three gut hormones – glucagon-like peptide-1, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide and glucagon. Preliminary studies indicate it could assist individuals lose up to 25% of their body weight. Referred to as the “triple G”, the drug is being hailed digitally as the next Ozempic.

Medical Experts Express Concerns

Nevertheless, physicians and chemists have warned that the distribution of what is still an unlicensed drug in the United Kingdom is a cause for concern and could result in users administering products of unknown origin.
